What does Eye Rock Inc. offer for Artists and Labels?
Eye Rock is an mp3 download site. Eye Rock provides a place for artists and labels to sell their music in mp3 format online and offline with mp3 music download cards.
What is the difference between an Artist and a Label?
With an Artist account you can create a profile, upload music, create custom mp3 music download cards and sell your music online and offline with mp3 music download cards.
With a Label account, you can do the same thing as artists, except you can manage multiple artists under one account. One account=One paycheck
How do I sign up and sell my music?
Go to www.eye-rock.com
Go to the artist/label signup page
Agree to the terms of agreement and online distribution contract
Fill out your information
Create your profile (add a band pic, bio)
Upload your music and create albums
Start Selling your music
How does it work?
You can sell your music at www.eye-rock.com and you can purchase download cards from Eye Rock Inc. to sell at your performances. If you sell cards at your shows, it will draw people to your URL, and attract more purchases of your music.

How do the cards work?
You can create mp3 music download cards and either sell them or give them away for promotion to your fans. They take the card home and go to www.eye-rock.com. They enter the redemption code from the card, and download your music.
The mp3 music download cards have a 10 digit non case sensitive code, that is artist specific. When the code is entered, the fan is directed to your own URL.
Do I have to have an account and profile at www.eye-rock.com to purchase download cards?

What kind of mp3 music download cards do you offer?
Currently we offer two different cards for purchase.
We have a Single Song Download Card that will be printed with your band name and one line of custom text if you choose to use it.
We Also sell Album Cards that will contain your Artist Name, Album Name, Your Album Cover, and UPC Code for soundscan venue reporting.
How much should I sell the cards for?
You can charge whatever you want. The suggested price for single song cards is $1.00. If you buy 100 cards for $.36/card and sell them for $1.00 you will profit $64. You will make $9.41/card If you buy 100 album cards for $.99/card and sell them for $10/card. You will profit $941.00. Either way you will be saving money from pressing CD’s and saving room in your vehicle while traveling from show to show.
There are multiple uses for the cards you can use them for promotion.
The single song cards have one line of custom text, so you can put a Thank You, or promote the date of your next show and hand them out for free.
Why do you only accept mp3's?
Mp3’s are still the most universal format on digital audio players. You are responsible for encoding your songs in mp3 format and the quality of mp3 that you want to sell to your fans. Eye Rock Inc. might offer other formats in the future.
Can I embed html code on my profile?
Yes, You can place html code in your bio section of your profile only. You can place slideshows, youtube videos etc.
Can I track my sales online?
Not at this time, that is a function we are going to work on in the future. We will send you a monthly report of all your download statistics. At the end of the quarter we will send you a final accounting, and download statistics for that quarter.
Is there a limit to how many songs I can upload?
No, there is no limit as of now. However there is a 20MB limit per song.
How often will I get payed for online sales?
You will get paid quarterly for online sales. Please see the Pricing page for more information.
What is included in my profile?
a band picture
a bio
a link to your own website
a player for your songs
Upload and Manage your music from your profile.
An html link to post on your myspace.
you can purchase cards directly from your profile page
Can I update my profile?
Yes, you can change your band pic, edit songs, delete albums, add albums/songs.
Do I have to sell my music exclusively with Eye Rock Inc.?
No, you should try and sell your music in as many outlets as possible. We want you to get your music out there!
